ACT UP!

Each of us must emerge out from the comfort zone of that social and local bubble in which we live. To see the injustice that is happening in the world wherever you look right now. What is happening in the Czech Republic is a reflection of society all over the world. What is happening in America is the consequence and image of society around the whole world. What is happening at the borders of Europe and America, how we treat refugees is a sad mirror of each of us. “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” – Martin Luther King Jr.Local racism, latent racism, xenophobia, homophobia is about imaginary superiority ignorance and fear of the unknown. If the government is unable to set up an education system, society itself must find a new vocabulary, look into the eyes of the truth, correct the most recent history of last 100th years , admit the guilt and blood on our hands, and educate new and old generations in a truth that reflects what really happened in the connotation of what is happening right now and why. Rather than violence I prefer education. But I must admit, that Civil disobedience is appropriate if the state authority - government and the police incites racism and murders innocent people. In this case peaceful protest is for nothing. And we know it from the history of LGTBQ rights that even today are not equal. The rights of LGTBQ community didn't became reality based on peaceful protest. It was a riot and again a blood on hands of state authorities, governments and a mirror of the society. #icantbreathe #blacklivesmatter
